Setting up a WeChat Official Account requires several documents to be submitted and involves a few application steps.
Documents Required for Overseas Entity Accounts
- Company Registration Certificate or Business License: Original photo or scan, or a photocopy with the company seal and then scanned;
- Color Scanned Copy of Contact Person’s ID (Front and Back);Application Letter (Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, or English versions);
- Mobile Phone Billing Statement. The phone statement must clearly show the contact person’s name and mobile phone number. The name on the bill statement must match the name on the passport used in this application.
- Other Supporting Documents:
- A half-body photo of the applicant holding their ID card
- An application letter is required
- If the account is named by a trademark, please submit the trademark registration certificate or trademark authorization letter)
